Hosting and essential operation

ALL-INKL.COM hosts the website and handles contact email in Germany. Serving pages may produce server logs containing an IP address, time, requested URL and browser information. These are used to deliver the site, diagnose problems and prevent abuse, on the basis of legitimate interests in operating a secure website. Log retention follows the hosting account’s configuration; ask us for the current period.

When you contact me

The form asks for your name, email address, topic and message. I use these to respond and, where necessary, investigate your question. The basis is my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries; where an enquiry concerns a contract, steps requested before entering that contract may apply. You do not have to use the form—you can email me instead.

Messages are handled through ALL-INKL’s hosting mail service and the recipient’s email service. They are kept only as long as needed to handle the enquiry and any related issue or applicable legal obligation. You can ask for deletion; I will explain if there is a reason to retain anything. Contacting me does not subscribe you to a mailing list. Please do not send API keys, passwords or sensitive personal information.

To protect the form, a short-lived session cookie holds a random identifier. The server also keeps a daily salted hash of the sending IP address and request timestamps for rate limiting. Old records are discarded as the form is used: request timestamps expire after an hour and the daily hash is rotated on the next day’s first request. Message text is not stored in this rate-limit record.

Optional Google Analytics

If you choose “Accept analytics”, Google Analytics 4 helps me understand which pages people use and which download links they click. It receives page addresses (without query strings or fragments), basic browser/device information and interaction events. Download events identify the app version, filename and type—not who installed or used it. A download click does not prove a completed download.

The Google tag is blocked until you accept. Rejecting leaves the website and downloads fully usable. No contact-field content is sent by this website’s analytics code. Advertising signals and ad personalisation are disabled. Google processes network information, including an IP address, to deliver its service; GA4 does not log or store individual IP addresses.

The legal basis for optional analytics and its cookies is your consent. Google may process data outside the UK and EEA using its applicable transfer safeguards. See Google’s privacy policy and its EU data and privacy documentation. Analytics event retention is governed by the property’s configured retention period; contact me for the current setting. Aggregated reports may be retained longer.

What is stored on your device?

You can withdraw consent at any time using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawal stops future analytics and removes this site’s accessible Google Analytics cookies. It does not undo processing that already took place.

The Chordy app is separate

This website’s Google tag is not installed in the app. If you connect an AI provider in Chordy, generation requests go to the provider you choose under its own terms. Internal mode, chord exploration and local editing do not require an AI provider. Your API key is not something the website needs or collects.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. You can withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email the address above to exercise these rights.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office: ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint. If you live elsewhere, you may also contact your local data protection authority. This website does not use your information to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.
